	Profile / Who are we? Since more then 35 years we are active in the gift business. Our range of products extends from porcelain over crystal and stainless steel until textile. Too much to mention. By sort of article, we speak about figurines, dinner-sets, vases, cutlery, … over collector items ….to teapots, napkins en kitchen towels. Most products are coming from Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Italy.
	Originally, we were an import and wholesale trade. Actually, our turnover in this activity is negligible. The last years we work more and more as agents. This means that we represent foreign manufacturers and brands for Belgium and the grand duchy of Luxembourg. We talk about “direct” sales, or from your point of view, direct purchase. The benefit opposite to a classic purchase is the price at which you can buy. The manufacturer proposes better “direct” prices then via a classic wholesaler. Sico has the advantage to have no logistic costs (transport, storage).
The “direct” purchase conditions are kept low. The invoices are in Euro and most of the manufacturers have a bank account at a Belgian bank. This way you have no bank costs at all. You work with us as easy as with a classic wholesale. Sico is a small family firm in the second generation. After years we have built a steady clientele. Next to our principal seat at Schoten, where the administration is, Sico has a large showroom at the Brussels Trade Mart. You can visit us there every Monday or make an appointment. Always welcome!
