Antica Murrina has its roots planted way back in the artistic glassworking traditions of centuries ago.
The Voltolina brothers founded the company at the end of the 80s driven by their passion for making exquisite torch-moulded glass beads finely worked by hand with gold or silver leaf. Their amazing skill in combining these ancient traditions with modern styles has given rise to this successful and constantly developing company, spreading these top quality purely Italian creations throughout the world.

SPRING/SUMMER

Movement, lightness and elegance: these are the
distinguishing features of the new Spring/Summer 2010
collection designed by Antica Murrina. Inspired by
the delicate, crystalline colours of the Summer and
the light movements of nature, these new pieces
of jewellery interpret the season with the richness
and originality of glass, the undisputed and versatile
protagonist of the collection. Soft, deconstructed
shapes that were created almost for fun by the
master glassworkers, designing unique pieces that
constantly reflect new shades and flashes. The delicate
Spring shades give the sensation of lightness that is
suggested by the surreal settings for the jewellery.
Alongside the romantic shades from red to pink,
there are also the classic metal models, and the
liveliest of jewels in shades of turquoise and amethyst.
The irregular lines of the glass meet the warm Spring
light to create an ethereal collection that freshens
and brightens every female expression.
